Unlucky or Lucky??

Well today hadn’t been a very lucky day for me, all day I just waited to meet my boss to ask him for a recommendation…but he was busy all day with meetings (I think that I would never understand why do people with nice cabins spend so much of time in meetings?). Anyways at the end of the day it was his secretary who connected me to my boss’s cell phone. So at least at the end of the day I did managed to talk to him.
He called me and asked me about the reason for my wanting to see him, so I had no choice but to tell him over the phone (though I wanted to do this personally) that I am planning to apply for MBA, in next fall, but he didn’t responded in any strange way, and calmly said that he was on his way to the air port and would be out of country…as soon as he said this my heart really sank I didn’t gauged the depth but I feel that it would be somewhere close to that of Mariana trench…but then next moment he said that he would be back day after tomorrow and we can talk about the whole thing then, and to my utter surprise he asked me the Univs I am looking at…;-) and as I was about to speak out the names, he said that he is in a bit of hurry and we can figure that out when we meet day after tomorrow…anyways I thing this is not as bad as I feared initially…at least he doesn’t have any hassles with my applying for the MBA…so probably the problem of one of my referee is now solved and I now need to look for the other referee….. anyways I think it’s has been a long day for me and now I need to go back to my apartment and have some dinner and a good night's sleep....good night ;-)
