The MBA tour

It feels that I am writing after a long long time, when really it’s a day or two, anyways yesterday went to the MBA fair, organized by the world MBA tour, it was a nice attempt by them to spread awareness about the phoren MBA, but I personally feel that I it was a bit disappointing for me, firstly because in there presentations they didn’t really said anything that was an addition to the information that I already have about admissions, recommendations and essay and Secondly, because the crowd there was way too large for anyone to asks much questions about the doubts that he/she has in mind, or for one who wants to talk to the admission people from the schools he is applying to… and moreover the crowd there was just for the sake of being there and though they posed to cognizant, but in my view, from the questions that most of them posed, I really doubt that. And I saw people there moving from the desk of one school to that of the other, passing a nice smile and collecting brochures of all the schools, which happened to attend the MBA tour, just to leave the pile of brochures outside the hotel because it was too heavy for them to carry back home!! So why in the first place they collected them and made it difficult for other serious people to talk to the people they wanted too. Anyways I think that’s enough for a crib ;) but the hotel was really great, I was almost awed by the grandeur of the interiors and the might of the structure, which In fact is an height of creation by a human mind.
Anyways I almost forgot to tell that I have completed my response to Why MBA? Though it’s a first draft and I don’t know how many would I have to write before I send that to the schools, but still it feels like an achievement ;) and there is one more thing, that I am not applying to Yale, because given my lack of a stellar work ex I only have a slim chance of getting in there, moreover it’s a very expensive school and I don’t think that I could afford that given the fact that there are not much of the funding options available there….that’s all for today…..bye
